Frequently asked questions

Do I need qualifications?

For general support and general listening roles, no: we provide the training. A clinical or psychology background is welcome but not required, and listening roles always include supervision.

How much time does it take?

As much as you can, consistently: we agree on a sustainable commitment together, even just a few hours a month.

Is it remote?

Yes, many roles are fully remote. Some local activities (such as events) take place in person in Ticino.

Is there training?

Yes. Before you start you get the training suited to your role, and during your work you're never alone: regular supervision and check-ins.

How do you protect confidentiality?

Every volunteer is bound to confidentiality. Support conversations stay confidential and are handled under our privacy policy.
