Our association
People helping people — with method.
SosForAll is a nonprofit association founded in Lugano in 2020. We combine the heart of volunteering with the rigor of data: every program has clear goals and measurable results.
Our mission
We believe nobody should face a dark moment alone — and that those who help have a duty to do it well. Our mission: free emotional support and mental-health help, relief in crises — from wars to natural disasters — and charity without any discrimination, plus long-term empowerment through sport and art.
We operate from Viganello, in the heart of the Lugano area, as an association under articles 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code. Our work is carried out by trained volunteers and made possible by our donors.
Our story
SosForAll was born in 2020 as a research project: for three years we collected and analyzed global data on mental health, human behavior, demographics and crime patterns — including the study of collective behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2024 we moved from research to action: that data now drives our four programs. We know where help is needed most, and we measure whether it is working.
